No idea which Yoga I have but my Touchpad would not move the mouse, but will click. Searched for hours for an answer, was messing around in Device Manager and fixed my problem. Hopefully it works for you. After a few seconds mine started working again. I saw this fix a while back but could not remember what it was or where I found it.

I’ve tried the last 3 drivers from Synaptics and nothing works. Please fix this. It feels very much like a Windows issue.

Bennett, your solutions are irrelevant when, after installation of the Synaptic drivers there is no sign of them in Device manager or under Program files.

The install says it has completed successfully, yet no sign of any improvement with the touchpad. I used to get the Synaptics icon in my tray with every boot, now it longer appears after the 8.
